Privacy
This notice explains the connections made when you use Aaron Thomson’s website.
This website does not currently use visitor analytics. Removing the previous analytics setup does not erase data Google has already received.
Website delivery and security
The website’s hosting and security providers receive information needed to serve and protect the site, such as requested addresses, IP addresses and browser request headers.
Videos, original sources and external links
Some pages contain YouTube videos. Loading an embedded video or opening an original-source viewer can connect to its provider and send connection and browser information, including before you press Play. Following an external link also takes you to another provider’s service.
See how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services and Google’s privacy policy for its practices and controls.
Inquiries
If you send a media inquiry, we use your name, reply email address, optional publication or outlet, and inquiry text to review and respond to your request. The website sends these fields through Resend to Aaron’s designated private inbox. Your reply email is used as the message’s Reply-To address. Resend processes the message for delivery, and the receiving email provider stores the delivered email under its own settings and policies. The destination address and delivery credentials are kept in server settings and are not published in the form.
To prevent repeat sends and limit abuse, the server stores a request identifier, keyed digests of the submitted fields and network address, a delivery state, and request counters and timestamps. It does not store the inquiry text, name, email address or raw network address in that anti-abuse database. Rate limits use a ten-minute network window and a daily website-wide limit. The server removes old receipt records and expired counters when a later valid submission runs cleanup; this does not guarantee deletion from every system after 24 hours.
